Wisdom Wednesday: Faith in Action rather than Words

Wisdom Wednesday are thoughts for social conversations and sharing our honest opinions, ideals and Wisdom. All of us have a value worth sharing; it may motivate another to stop, continue and/ or begin a certain process in their personal or social development. 


Faith in Action...

...rather than words
Almost everyday in the American media, entertainment, or on the streets - we hear and/ or use the words; terrorists, n-word, shyster, extremist - etc.... These words have been used for years in different settings, among various groups to demoralize the next or even each other. The mechanics of terminology has proven that "Words make minds, and minds shape men." Words in association with images, develops creates a cognitive behavior toward the directed person, place or thing. 


What is not being said...


There are men and women of faith who apply action for the treatment and resolution of America's social ills. Interfaith communities in the United States fight negative stereotypes on a daily basis. Established dialouges foster clarity and create resources to educate on issues like homelessness, drug abuse, health care policies, unemployment and domestic violence one might say "Why?"


The concept of Good Will is found within Judaism, Christianity and Al Islam - for the rights and needs of neighbors. Faith and piety are the drivers of these individuals, organizations and institutions who share resources for humanitarian projects. 


Some people rather avoid conversations of religion for many reasons. Many of us have experienced senseless arguments over simple mentions and never reaching any type of mutual agreement. In this blog-ver-sa-tion and the video posted; we wanted to demonstrate a group of Muslims, Jews and Christians who meet, plan and restore dignity and offer encouragement for America's communities.


Note: In the coming year of campaign elections, many words will be utilized rhetorically to characterize a person, place or thing for personal achievement. Please let us use our intellect in these critical decision making moments. Entering 2012 with clarity is vitally important toward our mental survival.
