Wisdom Wednesday: Educate our youth with Leadership

"People Helping People"
Wisdom Wednesday are thoughts for social conversations and sharing our honest opinions, ideals and Wisdom. All of us have a value worth sharing; it may motivate another to stop, continue and/ or begin a certain process in their personal or social development.

Educate our youth with Leadership

Over the past week, we received an inbox from a young colleague within our community. This is an inspiring person, who seems to have their priorities aligned accordingly with; academics, community service and sports. Basically, exemplifying the necessary confidence in procuring a future. It was not until these transmissions it dawned on us about leadership and being accountable for our young people.

Generation Y or the Millennials, are facing a more escalated level of trials and desires than its previous cohort; GenerationX. Already today's youth have witnessed devastation, war, economic hardship, facing bullying and increasing birth rates of teen pregnancy. Yet alone, the pressure of divorce from genX's relationship battles of power (it's been desensitizing for us all). Both our young men and women have surreal realities challenging their critical thinking and decision making skills on a daily basis.

Religious Environmental Cultural Intelligence with Sincerity and being Motivational are all embodied within Leadership. Our young possess these qualities; their characteristics we may not recognize in its early stages. While differentiating between what seems to be a rebellious perspective; but understanding who we were then, can give us insights into the mind state of our Millennial youth now (it's Us all over again, with SMS skills!).

"Apply yourself both now and in the next life. Without effort, you cannot be prosperous. Though the land be good, You cannot have an abundant crop without cultivation."...Plato

A procurement of wisdom for understanding is required across the board. Let's try and develop a necessary trust between the youth, which can help us address their concerns. Our culture must slow down its busy enjoyments of social entertainment and recognize the need to build our young coalition Leadership, before we are mislead indirectly.
