There is a recent movement being organized to legalize drugs. Law Enforcement Against Prohibition is discussing, organizing, and campaigning against the war on drugs. The war on drugs have incarcerated wholesale numbers of Blacks and Latinos living in economic challenged communities. It is producing more broken families and more problems prior to a family member being arrested for a non-violent crime. Law enforcement is losing the respect it once had, because they are only policing communities and no longer serving and/or protecting the people.
Los Angeles 1980s, a war on drugs was declared and since then - this war has not stopped. It has created excessive sentencing for non-violent offenders and has not instituted no real rehabilitation programs for drug users. Watch now who is fighting the war on drugs...
