It's said, "Leadership is taking action, where there is no action." A reminding definition to alleviate procrastination, become innovative and promote what is right than remaining in error or motionless. A leader acknowledges his/her team, recognizing their accomplishments; helping a colleague reach their next stage of development.
Everyone desires success and it's experienced through various levels of growth. The training you are experiencing today, whether enjoyable or difficult; understand this way, "that piece of coal (training) will be a diamond one day." Within this growing process - the one who helps elevates the status of another, subsequently elevates his/her own status as well - especially when teams are successful. What about if this person is from another organization or coalition? "Yes!" Show admiration toward efforts during a successful campaign and even in tough times, your motivation will go a long way.
There are many leading organizations and/or an individual, who hold good people back and restrict what they think is only meant for them. Maybe it's not done intentionally; but their drive tends to ignore or overstand the drive of another, who is mutually important for his/her sustainability. A lot of good people have become lost in stagnation and/or devastated by others, because they are not being acknowledge for their work. We should allow hard-workers to shine and empower them with opportunities for advancement. They not only earned their pay checks, but those emails of opportunity you receive daily - forward it to someone who may could take advantage, "Why Delete It!""Our universe was designed by Goodness, and the reward for good is good"
"Good deserves good, what you put in - is what you get out, what goes around comes back around - twice as better." Sayings we all have heard before, but misunderstand or misuse a simple practice of simple sharing. In most cases, Man prefer business over brotherhood.
Basically let's identify and recognize a good worker, a leading personality and/or an organizer who exemplifies the vision of the team. Build a team who appreciates your leadership. Spread the opportunities for advancement and reward good for doing doing work. Simple rewards are smiles, a thank you or even a shout out! These tokens of appreciation are relationship developers, and in today's changing world - relationships are needed. Think down the line...
"the volunteer at the registration table, may be the one interviewing you one day - hopefully your leadership was thoughtful...."
Wisdom Wednesday are reminders for social conversations - the sharing of honest opinions and wise ideals. All of us have a value worth sharing; it may motivate another to stop, continue and/or begin a certain process in our personal growth or social development.
