Wisdom Wednesday with Urban Voices

The world as is, once again is evolving and a new people will develop the world as it should be. It seems world leaders are no longer relevant with the people's best interest, self-interest overshadows their position. People are in need of effective brotherly leadership; leaders who desire to assist and help mankind, and can relate with grass-root issues. There's an urban cohort of citizens, holding U.S. public officials more accountable to domestic care, word and deed. New highways of information are opening communications.

The internet has leveraged the game for available content, offering alternative sources of news, opening a gateway to new urban voices. These voices are expressing what is not heard in the mainstream, posting uncensored content; introducing viewers to a more broader world perspective. Viewers are finding themselves with an array of new media channels. Having better journalism, and streams of objective web series - most producing relevant discussions.

The taboo topics (religion and politics) have been ignored for so long, people are now embracing new dialogue for a greater and more wise comprehension, around politics and religion. What was once kept bleek, is now being discussed.

Over the past 13 years Americans have felt war, economic hardships, and social depression. Mental Health cases are rising, our poverty margin has widen through unemployment. All this being said, a great part of America has re-embraced religious roots for a sound heart, in the midst of uncertain times. Faith is redeveloping a trust for spiritual salvation, subsequently, it's birthing new urban voices to speak for social justice.

There is a smarter, more intelligent United States organizing soci-political actions. Leaders are using their voice to articulate, rightful outcomes. True, a lot of what's is heard across mainstream today is negative commentary, demoralizing a sector of people. If you listen closely, there are people speaking the truth, challenging peacemakers with facts over their idle talks, filled with subjective concerns. This evolution is not being televised, it's on the internet and often time being live streamed!

The world as it should be, is rising. Political powers and their opinions are being questioned. Urban America is seeking change, after years of trusting elected officials without questioning their actions. Suffering loss of jobs, homes and dignity is making Americans utilize intelligence and wisdom for internal insight. Expressing our tag line, America is becoming an "Urban Voice for A New World" #createavoice.

The following is a challenging thought for conversation. Reflections with Mustafa Davis "Deen or Dunya" translated meaning, "A true way of life (Deen) or material world (Dunya)." The better choice is producing urban voices.
