Every Thursday with Operation Facelift

"Every Thursday" will feature people of creativity and/or ideas of leadership throughout their work.

Let's venture into Downtown Los Angeles Skid Row Community, where its Leaders have launched a major initiative called "Operation Facelift:Skid Row." Where OG's N Service and the Skid Row Brigade both have organized community activists, volunteers and residents for a community facelift. A grass-root effort to alleviate their streets of trash, pollution and ignorance.

Like any other organization, they are strategically advocating for awareness by action. Operation Facelift is maintained by the people of Skid Row, thus creating job training for its residents. A small band of leaders are educating Skid Row residents about having a safe and clean community. Recently, Operation Facelift surveyed the community's interested. Skid Row Survey Results 2012; a primary source of information and demographics, serving a relevant purpose.

See them in action below, this organization document their own work. They are not funded by any of the bigger downtown organizations. They just have a sincere passion for wellness of people and community life.
