Every Thursday with Cornell West

"Every Thursday" will feature people of creativity and/or ideas of leadership throughout their work.

"We're not against America, we're against injustice in America"
One can tell what's in a person heart, by the words he/she chooses for speech - this making Cornel West a disruptive speaker. In Hip Hop, the acronym "MC" means "Move the Crowd". Knowing your audience is key when designing your talk, presentation or speech and he have moved audiences around the country with his spoken word speech.

Recently in December 2011 Cornell West spoke during the Muslim Public Affairs Council annual banquet. His background of education and experiences delivered a relevant message that not only informed but cut directly into truth and purpose, from an African American narrative.

Owning your story and using it to create balance. The importance of applying your wisdom in ways it helps others in their struggle. Being an innovative intellect is truly a direct blessing and using it for justice only can create more blessings. Revealing, every person has their own purpose and it becomes special when used for mankind and not self.So being disruptive not only relates to the tech or business worlds but across all professions.

Be disruptive in the community and next Thursday it might be you.
