I first came across this documentary on a flight from New Jersey. It was featured on an airline pay service channel, so I watched my neighbor's screen and watching this doc was almost telepathic.
Meaning, I narrated my own narration over the images to a soundless screen. The images literally tapped my mental experience living through those times. Referencing memories of family and friends' involvement, being close friends with neighborhood hustlers, and early interaction with our friendly community law enforcement :( agency. Growing up in Compton, California in the 1980s with a drug-gang culture, develop and shaped our reality til this day.
So this doc is a very articulated show and creatively spins an age of total disruption. Events that still affect urban communities today. Note, the last time I featured a short film as a 3rd party, it was shut down from its source. This is only for educational purposes and if they us shut down - oh well...

Wisdom Wednesday are reminders for social conversations, the sharing of honest opinions and wise ideals. All of us have a value worth sharing; it may motivate another to stop, continue and/or begin a certain process in our personal growth or social development.
